In order to reinforce the team’s defensive line and after external and internal pressures, due to low performance and being in last place in the National Football League (NFL) ranking, Yannick Ngakoue seems to be the right bet for the leverage and highlight for Chicago Bears.

In recent seasons, Yannick Ngakoue has been with the Indianapolis Colts and has shown great performance throughout the games, getting 29 combined tackles, 9.5 sacks and 15 starts on the field. And in 2021, while with the Las Vegas Raiders, he made a career-high three passes defended and two forced fumbles.

Recently, in addition to the player, the team renewed Cole Kmet’s contract, its extension was officially for US$ 50 million for four years, until 2027. The athlete is responsible for an excellent score, with 50 receptions for 544 yards and seven touchdowns.

“When you look at the stuff I was doing in my rookie year, sometimes I look like an idiot, you know? But it’s cool to see the progression and where things are going. I have seen improvement each year and intend to continue to take these steps in the coming year and years to come,” said Cole Kmet.

The player continued to comment on the contract renewal: “All of this from the beginning feels like a dream come true. To be summoned here first and to be able to extend and agree to the terms is amazing. I’m looking forward to it and looking forward to the things that come with it. And lots of playoff and Super Bowl appearances”.
