Last Wednesday (30), in an interview with the ESTO website, during the Los Cabos Open tennis tournament, in Mexico, Stefanos Tsitsipas assumed the new relationship with professional colleague Paula Barbosa. In the chat, the player confessed how important the athlete is in his life.

“I changed my life because Paula Barbosa brought a bright light to her and I did the same for her. I’ll be completely honest, I’ve never been so excited about the future, both in my private and professional life. I really want to make the most of it,” said the tennis player.

The two players met for the first time during the Italian Open, in Rome, when Paula Barbosa faced Ons Jabeur. The end of the match made Stefanos Tsitsipas send a message to the Spaniard and, thus, both began to get to know each other and get involved.
“I made a bet with myself. I said ‘I’ll text Badosa if she wins the second round match in Rome’ and she was playing really well so I thought ‘hey, I have a good chance of getting this today’. She ended up winning the match so I kept my promise and texted her, I guess you could say that’s how it started.”
While Stefanos Tsitsipa and Paula Badosa did not publicly assume the romance, speculations began to surface after the player was spotted watching a Greek match. In July, when they decided to expose their love to everyone, the athletes shared photographs and intimate moments of the couple.
“I miss her so much and talk to her every day. We have a great connection between us. It’s the first time in a long time that we’re not together. Now I realize how much I miss her and how much she misses me too”, said the player about the absence of his beloved in the tournament in Mexico.
