According to the MRI results, Rodgers suffered a complete tear of his left Achilles. Saleh told reporters on Tuesday that the quarterback needs surgery, but he didn’t have information about the surgery schedule or recovery process.
Rodgers, 39, is the second oldest player in the league. Before being traded, the quarterback spent 18 seasons of his career with the Green Bay Packers, leading the team to a victory in Super Bowl XLV in 2011. He also won MVP awards in 2011, 2014, 2020 and 2021.
