At a fans’ forum, Levy was asked about the subject and replied “absolutely”, but did not reveal the amount or the period for the clause to come into effect. Kane moved from Tottenham to Bayern Munich in August, in a deal worth up to $110m, and his contract is until June 2027. In five games, Kane already scored four goals and provided one assist.

Tottenham supporters didn’t like the idea of Kane leaving, but the German refused to rule out a return to Spurs in the future. “It’s not a goodbye as you never know how things pan out in the future,” he said. “It is a thank you and I will see you soon.”

Kane is going to make his Champions League debut for Bayern this Wednesday (20), against Manchester United, one of the other clubs that was interested in the player earlier this summer.
