Last Sunday (24), during an interview on CBS’ Sunday Morning, Gisele Bündchen discussed details of her personal life, career and motherhood. The model says that her separation from Tom Brady was one of the most difficult moments and that divorce was not one of her goals.
“Getting divorced was not what I dreamed of, what I expected. My parents have been married for 50 years and I really wish this had happened to me. But I think you have to accept it. Sometimes you grow together, sometimes you grow apart…He is the father of my children. So I always wish him the best. I am very grateful for having given me wonderful children”, said the model.
Previously, the model had already declared that dealing with the separation with the player was a challenging time in several areas of her life and that of her children. However, with time and understanding of the situation, Gisele managed to establish balance in her life and stated that nowadays she feels more open to talking about divorce.
The Brazilian also reflected on the height of her international modeling career, stating that due to the pressure, she started smoking, drinking and consequently having anxiety attacks that she had never had before. “Everyone who looked at me from the outside thought I had everything. But I was living this life that was killing me,” she said.
After several events that worried her emotionally, Gisele Bündchen decided to live her life more reclusively and calmly, with adaptations to her routine that led her to practice sports, yoga, and brought her closer to nature.
