Namely, the Brazilian winger spent almost three weeks away from the English club, due to accusations of assault against his ex-girlfriend Gabriela Cavallin and two other women.
“Since allegations were first made in June, Antony has cooperated with police inquiries in both Brazil and the UK, and he continues to do so”.
“As Antony’s employer, Manchester United has decided that he will resume training at Carrington, and be available for selection, while police inquiries proceed. This will be kept under review pending further developments in the case”.

Antony returned to England last Wednesday (27) and, according to the British press, went to the Greater Manchester police to hand over his own cell phone, in order to help with the investigations.
Antony spoke out on social media denying having committed the attacks. He says he is a victim of false accusations and made himself available to the authorities to provide clarification.
