This Monday (26), the franchise released new uniforms, logos and court design. The changes will accompany the Clippers’ move to a new gym, the Intuit Dome, which will open in August 2024.
“We have been on a long journey, gathering opinions and ideas from fans. We listened to as many voices as possible and consulted experts to arrive at a timeless design, which brings together the foundations of the past and the future. The new brand is strong and means a lot, capturing our roots and aspirations,” said Gillian Zucker, president of business operations for the Clippers and Intuit Dome.
As a result, the new main logo will have the traditional “C”, but accompanied by other graphic elements. The boat, for example, is a reference to the port of San Diego, the city in which the franchise gained the name Clippers. There is still a compass, with north pointing to the “n” of Los Angeles. The letters used on the shield are inspired by naval typography.

In addition, the future Intuit Dome court will feature the franchise’s new logo. The uniforms will also be different from the 2024/2025 season onwards. With the colors blue, red and white, the pieces will be named after the city of Los Angeles or the Clippers.
While the changes have not yet been implemented in practice, the Clippers continue in search of their unprecedented NBA title. In the current season, they occupy fourth place in the Western Conference, with 37 wins and 19 losses. The team lost to the Sacramento Kings on Sunday, 123-107.
