Henry puts Mbappé’s future in doubt: “They could be wrong”

For the coach of the French Olympic team, Mbappé’s future is far from defined. In a press conference this Wednesday (20), Thierry Henry questioned the striker’s agreement with Real Madrid and left a possible surprise in the air.

“Kylian (Mbappé) can go wherever he wants, he will make the right decision. Whether at Real Madrid, because everyone thinks the obvious when they can be wrong, or anywhere else. He will be good wherever he goes. We are talking about a monster,” Henry said.

With this, Mbappé’s future club has a direct impact on Henry’s plans, who would like to count on the striker for the Paris Olympic Games. According to him, an agreement with Real Madrid would make the star’s participation unfeasible.

“I haven’t spoken to Kylian about this yet. Will he disagree with his club? Be careful, here we are speculating without knowing whether (Real Madrid) will be his destiny. The only thing we know is that he will leave (PSG). If it goes to Real Madrid, we already know that they won’t release their players,” he added.

Mbappé has a contract with PSG until June and has already informed the club of his decision to leave. The Spanish press takes the signing by Real Madrid for granted. However, there has been no official confirmation so far.
