DeRozan made a hard foul on Jalen Green, and Brooks came to the defense of his Rockets teammate and took an elbow.
The two were restrained by many staff members from both teams so that the friction did not escalate into a fight.

With that, the confusion happened with 6min02s left in the third quarter. DeRozan took a flagrant type 2 foul and was ejected.
Brooks received a flagrant type 1 foul. As he already had a technical foul in the game, the Rockets player was also sent off.
The Rockets led the score at the time of the confusion and maintained the advantage, sealing the victory by 127 to 117. Green (26 points) and Brooks (23 points) were Houston’s top scorers, and Jock Landale managed a double-double (17 points and 12 rebounds). The scorer of the match, however, belonged to the Bulls. Ayo Dosunmu scored 35 points.
