And it wasn’t on just any stage: against England, at Wembley, being decisive for the 1-0 victory, this Saturday.

A great start to his career and that of Dorival Júnior, who debuted as coach, taking Canarinho out of a run of four games without a win.

As a result, Brazil had many absences in its squad. But if this could mean a poor performance in coach Dorival Júnior’s debut, what was seen was completely the opposite.

The Seleção had a great performance at Wembley, especially in the first half, and deserved the 1-0 victory. The commander also ended a four-game drought: Canarinho had not won since September 12, 2023, in the triumph 1-0 over Peru, in Lima, in the World Cup qualifiers.

Furthermore, Brazil also broke a taboo on Saturday: by beating England, they emerged victorious again in an official game at Wembley after 29 years. The Brazilian team hadn’t known what it was like to win there since June 11, 1995. Endrick scored the winning goal.

Now, Brazil returns to the field on this FIFA Date to face Spain, next Tuesday at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, in Madrid. Meanwhile, England face Belgium on the same day at Wembley.
