Vinicius Jr. testifies against case of racism during LaLiga

The accused was convicted and removed from sports practices

Last Thursday (13), via videoconference, according to information released by the Spanish newspaper El Mundo, Vinicius Jr was summoned to testify about the cases of racism he suffered during the LaLiga championship, in February of this year, while representing Real Madrid.

The player was asked about the attitudes that the opposing crowd had during the match, with racist connection gestures: “With white people, not black people. You cannot do that to black people, who have been affected throughout human history.” In a conference, Vinícius Jr reinforced that he wants to receive compensation and that the culprits are held accountable for their actions.

At the end of the hearing, the court determined that the accused of the gestures is prohibited from attending the Son Miox stadium, in Spain, commanded by the Real Club Deportivo Mallorca team, for 20 years. In addition, he will have to pay a fine of four thousand euros and will be banned from attending sporting events for one year.
