In the statement, the former coach stated that he had spoken to his family and that he was the victim of excessive persecution after what happened at the World Cup, with the victory of the Spanish team. Furthermore, he reported that the truth will soon prevail and will be revealed.
Previously, due to Luis Rubiales’ controversies, her mother, Angeles Bejar, held a protest against her son’s suspension from the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF). The hunger strike began inside the Divina Pastora church in Motril, Spain, after a few days, she was taken to Santa Ana hospital due to dehydration.
During the days in which Angeles Bejar decided to carry out the protest, in an interview with reporters, a local priest known as Padre Antonio reported that the woman was feeling “tired and stressed”.
