According to information from the Spanish newspaper El Confidencial, three Real Madrid players were arrested this Wednesday (14), for allegedly leaking a video with sexual content involving a minor.

The players, who are around 20 years old, were detained at the club’s training camps following a complaint filed in the Canary Islands this month.
“They were detained for the alleged dissemination of a video with sexual content with a minor,” said the Spanish police spokesperson.
Police have questioned a fourth young player from the Real Madrid academy in connection with the case, but his involvement is still unclear, the spokesman said.

The complaint states that the leaked images were disseminated among several team players in WhatsApp groups.
According to El Confidencial, the arrest of those involved was made this Wednesday morning. The players were taken to local police facilities, where they will undergo due diligence.
Still regarding the investigation, the newspaper states that those responsible for continuing the criminal investigations intend to seize the cell phones of the players involved in the case to check the veracity of the complaint made.
In an official statement, Real Madrid said it had become aware of the complaint and that as soon as it had more information it would take the necessary measures.
