With that, Atlético managed to equalize in stoppage time of the match, thanks to Llorente’s header.
Real’s goal was scored by striker Brahim Díaz, in the 19th minute of the first half. He was the one who came in at the last minute to replace Vinicius Junior, who was injured.

Brahim Díaz was the highlight of the match, scoring a goal and distributing dribbles. He responded very well as a starter. In fact, he played 26 games for Real Madrid this season, in all competitions, and started 11 times.
In these 11 starting matches, he was directly involved in nine goals: six of his own, plus three assists.
Now, Real Madrid has a very difficult game next Saturday (10): against Girona, vice-leader of the Spanish Championship, at the Santiago Bernabéu. The difference between them remains two points (58 to 56). Atlético de Madrid visits Sevilla the following day.
