The team already has a guaranteed place in the next phase and will have the advantage of playing at home for the rest of the competition. This is the 60th victory for the Celtics, who have only 16 defeats to date.

As a result, Kristaps Porzingis was the Celtics’ top scorer in the match, adding 27 points and 12 rebounds. Jayson Tatum scored 24 points and Jaylen Brown had 23.

Also already qualified for the playoffs, the Thunder are still competing for the lead in the West, and are looking for victory to pass the Nuggets and Timberwolves in the table. With the defeat, they are in third place.

The team took to the court without Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Williams, who are recovering from injuries.

The Celtics head to the playoffs looking for their 18th title. Interestingly, the team’s last best campaign was in the 2008/2009 season, when they were champions for the last time.

In the next round, the Celtics will continue the sequence of games at home, hosting the Sacramento Kings. The match takes place on Friday (5). OKC faces the Indiana Pacers on the same day.
